Sports massage

I am qualified in both sports therapy and sports massage .

For years massage has been used for many beneficial reasons, including :-

  • Improved circulation

  • Better skin condition

  • Increased feeling of well being

  • Reduction in levels of stress and general relaxation

  • Injury prevention and rehabilitation

  • Increased recovery times after training or racing

After a sports massage, you will feel invigorated and relaxed.

All of our muscles are made up from a large number of individual fibres, and over time, if not looked after correctly, can bunch together becoming tight, woman with kettle belland often sore. With a sports massage I will manipulate these fibres, focusing on any specific areas of tension. Through specific techniques, I will help to realign the muscle fibres, which in turn aids muscle recovery, and improves the general condition of the muscle.

If you have a particular area of tension, a muscle spasm, or a knot, deep friction techniques can be applied to alleviate this 'hyper-irritable' spot.
